Each of the Asia Collections (Echols Collection on Southeast Asia, South Asia Collection, and Wason Collection on East Asia)  often need student employees with specific language skills.

The Echols Collection on Southeast Asia often needs students employees with reading knowledge of Burmese, Khmer, or Thai.  For more information about working for the Echols Collections, contact Aparna Ghosh.

The South Asia Collection at Cornell is particularly strong in Nepali and Sri Lankan studies. The Library sometimes needs student workers with language skills in Nepali or Sinhala. Hours are flexible, ability to work with attention to detail is a must. For more information, contact Lisa Lefever or Bronwen Bledsoe.

The Wason Collection on East Asia periodically has needs for student workers with Chinese, Japanese or Korean language skills for special projects.  Hours and working periods are very flexible.  Word study is preferred, but skilled students are hired according to project needs.  If you have reading skills in one of these languages, please send a cover letter and resume to Jing Carlson.
